Origanum Majorana
The description
Marjoram is a small annual plant. The leaves are grey-green and velvety to the touch. Sweet Marjoram is a member of the family of oregano but with a softer and softer flavor.
Culture
Sweet Marjoram is easily grown from seeds or cuttings. The marjoram prefers a sunny place and requires a well-drained soil. Marjoram tends to be a low-spread plant, 15 to 20 cm tall, of dense harbor. To improve seed germination, soak in water during the night.
Harvest
Harvest marjoram when ball-shaped spikes appear at the ends of the stems. When the plant begins to bloom, cut the plants close to the ground to stimulate a new growth spurt. The second growth spurt tends to be generous than the first.
